The Lamarcki honey is derived from the Lamarck’s honeybee or the Egyptian honey bee, Apis mellifera lamarckii, a subspecies of honeybee native to the Nile valley of Egypt.

Egypt is one of the oldest countries in the world in the beekeeping industry. While excavating tombs in Egypt’s pyramids, archaeologists discovered pots of honey dating back to 3,000 years ago. The Egyptian honey bee is (Apis mellifera lamarckii) is regarded as the ‘primary race’ from which all yellow honeybee races of Africa and the Orient are derived.

Also available in 500 gram bottle.
